About the Role:
You will play a key role in the design and development of bespoke mechanical systems and products, working from concept through to manufacture. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background and a passion for engineering creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and assemblies for custom-built products
- Produce detailed 2D & 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software
- Collaborate with clients, project managers and manufacturing teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Conduct design reviews and implement improvements based on testing and feedback
- Ensure designs meet performance, cost and safety requirements
About You:
- Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in a mechanical design role
- Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques and mechanical systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
