Role Overview
The successful candidate will provide planned maintenance, reactive response & repair, installation, and commissioning services to a variety of public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will be Northern Ireland-based.
What you’ll do
The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:
- To perform all work in a safe manner, following statutory guidelines and company policies, risk assessments and method statements.
- To perform planned maintenance, reactive response and installation works on plumbing systems.
- Accurately diagnose plumbing faults and successfully undertake remedial works.
- To perform and manage their assigned workload in an efficient timely manner.
- To perform works to a high standard.
- To make and keep accurate records utilising both the company’s mobile management platform and our clients’ systems.
- To be professional, proactive and client focused as you deliver your work.
- To provide call out cover on a rota basis.
- Any other reasonable duties required depending on the needs of the business.
What you’ll bring
As a Plumber your main skills and experience will include:
Essential Criteria
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
- Experience of working on a broad range of plumbing systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and repair skills
- Excellent communications skills
- A solid understanding of administration procedures
- Excellent attitude and approach to work
- An ability to be open, honest and be able to work as part of a team
- Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Full driving license.
Desirable Criteria
- Gas courses: COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1A and ICPN1
- OFTEC qualified.
