Job description:
Your Challenge
This role requires the Tool Room Engineer to be highly efficient in all tool room activities including changeover preparation, tool preventative maintenance and repairs. They also need to be proficient in the use of the Tool Room equipment including manual and CNC machines and be capable of working as part of a team.
Your profile
Essential Criteria
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship qualification (at BTEC H.N.C Level 3 or above) served within a high-speed plastics manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 6-12 months satisfactory performance and experience relevant to a Tool Room environment
- Practical/working knowledge and experience of tool maintenance including milling and turning skills
- Working knowledge of Preventative maintenance
- Knowledge and experience of Grade Change management
- Quality focused
- Logical thinker
- Good practical ability
- Possess good communication skills and have a keen willingness to learn
